Position Summary :
The Project Manager will work in the Global Implementation Program Management Office (PMO), managing project delivery of internal GSD and external DTCC projects, and is fully accountable for delivery of desired outcomes and end state solutions.
The Project Manager must proactively monitor and track project progress against strategic and business objectives as well as take full accountability for management of scope, schedule and budget when applicable.
The position of the Project Manager also focuses on supporting the Program Managers within the PMO with all aspects of project management, to ensure the successful execution of all projects.
To be successful, the Global Solutions Delivery Project Manager must effectively communicate with impacted stakeholders, must be highly motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented and possess outstanding communication and written skills.
Principal Responsibilities :
Perform all aspects of the project management lifecycle of small to mid size projects simultaneously
Accountable for project initiation, planning and execution, as well as responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the project delivers expected business outcomes within approved scope.
Build business cases for internal improvement efforts and support assignments that address areas for internal process improvement.
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report project statuses and issues accurately and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with stakeholders as well as project performance communication
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Assist Program Managers with project documentation and reporting
Ensure effective Global team communication
Assist with the scheduling and facilitation of meetings while taking quality meeting minutes for alignment
Adhere to established project management methodologies and standards while carrying out responsibilities
3 years of project management experience with exposure to the Financial Industry
Experience in planning and coordinating small to large projects simultaneously with experience in managing time, resources, priorities and risks
Highly developed problem identification skills and creativity to develop new innovative solutions
Experience in using Microsoft Office including Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with implementation and launch of large-scale projects
