Role Description :

The Product & Learning Specialist’s primary responsibility is to draft training agenda, create training plans and conduct trainings for new and existing customers on the proper use of New Skies.

To successfully deliver training, the Product & Learning Specialist is required to comprehensively learn and understand the Navitaire products as well as keep up to date on new software releases.

As a member of an implementation project, the Product & Learning Specialist will provide support to the project team by providing status updates and functional assistance whenever required.

He / She will be working closely with the different team members of the Product & Learning Specialist team, Product team and SUS teams across all Navitaire offices.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Learn, understand and stay current on Navitaire product functionality focusing on New Skies reservations.
  • Create and maintain training modules to be used in customer and internal trainings, in coordination with documentation team.
  • Work with relevant manager (project, product, client services) to assess and document training needs of customer.
  • Conduct customer product training in a classroom setting.
  • Establish dynamic training environment to accommodate different nationalities, personalities, and needs of each customer.
  • Document, communicate training status within a project, raise project issues that may put project in jeopardy.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers; anticipating needs and concerns and providing business process solutions to solve business problems.
  • Field client questions and assist in resolution of system test and production release issues
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Qualifications :

  • Must be a degree holder.
  • 2 years experience in professional classroom instruction and presentations skills OR
  • 2 years experience with Navitaire New Skies reservations (development, testing, support or similar role)
  • Ability to work 1 on 1 with customers on-site and off-site
  • Proven ability to document and solve problems and issues effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays; willing to travel
  • Education / Certifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferred.
