Description The position exist for the purpose of managing the daily operations of assigned teams, assisting Operations Manager in improving team productivity and efficiency and supporting business units identify areas for improvement and drive key business metrics.
Responsibilities KRA 1 : Customer Satisfaction
Generates reports based on team deliverables and opportunities, and present to management and counterparts.
Escalates specific issues and provide recommendation to internal customers to address them.
Assists direct reports in resolution of escalations on the area of specific support.
Identifies problems, analyzes trends and implements corrective and preventive actions using quality tools.
Schedules, coordinates and facilitatesinternal customer communication.
Works closely with counterparts / POCs to identify loopholes and process gaps.
Support projects related to quality improvement(such as Think Customer, QMS, etc.)and handles ad hoc tasks to support the objectives ofEmerson Process Management Manila
Participates in business conference calls.
KRA 2 : Internal Operations Management
Leads goal-setting review to ensure challenging and stretched goals and assignments for the team in support of the overall business -
Accountable for the on-time and proper recruitment to fill job vacancies to ensure service levels and appropriate staffing are carried on (business continuity).
Submits period reports on metrics / KPIs / Dashboards to determine performance of the team. -Performs staffing projection complementing work volume growth and forecast and make necessary proposals to business unit.
Monitors schedules of employees to ensure proper shift coverage -Plans, assigns and directs work to the employees in cooperation with the direct supervisor or manager to manage workload and projects -
Implements policies on the filing, documenting and approval of time and attendance administration -Identifies and documents changes in the roles, responsibilities, accountabilities and work load of employees to properly determine volume headcount ratio, work scope
KRA 3 : Staff Management and Development
Evaluates individual performance and conducts performance discussions to keep everyone on track -Performs regular coaching to enhance the performance of staff and encourage participation in decision making.
Adheres to the regularization, performance appraisal, periodic performance reviews, rewards and recognition and other people related policies and guidelines.
Determines employee's capabilities and improvement areas - Identifies functional / behavioral training & development needs of employees to support team goals and objectives -
Completes individual development plans of employees based on the company guidelines and implements agreed training / development activities -
Plans, organizes and coordinates team activities to enhance team camaraderie and employee engagement -Monitors adherence to the ethics and code of conduct and implements disciplinary action in compliance with the requirement for due process
KRA 4 : Internal Communication
Understands and seeks critical information and data needed by the team.
Communicates policies, programs and decisions that affect employees. -Uses effective communication tools like flow charts, process flows, diagrams, etc.
to effectively communicate products, processes, business and team performance, and others. -Conducts team meetings to address issues and concerns , escalations, improve processes and others.
Collaborates and networks with other leads to complete assigned projects and program -Keeps management informed and updated on matters affecting their team morale and performance
KRA 5 : Business Strategy Implementation
Support strategic initiatives (like State-of- Business information, BU Strategies, Manila Strategies) by translating them to tasks and activities that are generally understood at the staff level.
Participates in goals-roll down processes; proposes activities, and sets quarterly and yearly directions for his / her teams
Participates in sustaining and growing business partnerships with customers for the business group. Helps implements new and expanded business operation and service solutions to improve Manila position as a premier investment.
Develops programs that maximizes existing resources through understanding of the monetary value of the units produced by his or her team
Supports the operational budgeting activities to help implement cost saving initiatives
Keeps self abreast on business-related presentations and materials such as S&Op, Quarter webcasts, etc.
KRA 6 : Interdepartmental Relations
Identifies career development opportunities for employees within and outside the team
Collaborates with different groups within the business unit to complete assigned tasks and projects
Participates in cross-business unit committees as a contributor Requirements Education (avoid preferences, be more specific) :
Bachelor’s degree in field that the support requires
Job Related Experience (avoid preferences, be more specific) :
1.5 years relevant supervisor experience
Above average communication skills (oral & written)

Experience working with several levels within an organization, from frontline up to senior management

Excellent time management and problem solving skills
A strong desire to lead and a generally positive outlook in life
Specific Knowledge (functional area there should be appropriate working knowledge) :
General knowledge of the support Supply Chain
High competence in usage of MS Outlook and MS Office applications
Demonstrated systems and process knowledge
Knowledge in various software applications such as : SharePoint, MS Access
Strong knowledge of Oracle, Ariba
Business Understanding (aspect of the business there should be enough awareness) :
Understand supply chain / logistics processes and capabilities
Understanding of applicable business processes and tools such as MIN (including bolt-on tools) , e-Sourcing, business systems and tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain a positive working relationship
Ability to guide, mentor, motivate and coach team to achieve goals
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
