We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, Social Technology Unit is inviting applicants for the vacant position of Social Welfare Officer IV :

Ø One (1) Social Welfare Officer IV

Salary Grade / Salary : 22 Php 42,652.00

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s degree in social work

Training : Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

Experience : Three (3) years of responsible experience in social

welfare and development services

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

Primary Functions :

vProvides technical assistance through consultations, dialogues, conferences and training

  • vPrepares and submits feedback reports for managerial actions and decisions;
  • vProvides technical assistance to retained staff, LGUs, Pos and other intermediaries on social welfare concerns

    vPrepares and reviews plans and periodic reports

    vProvides technical supervision to SWO IIs and other staff implementing social welfare programs and services

    vReviews / assesses SCSRs and project proposals

    vRepresent the supervisor in committee meetings, conferences and social welfare related activities as may be delegated.

    vPerforms other tasks that may be assigned.

  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :

    Request for extension of submission will not be entertained. Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified.
