Key Accountabilities

  • Take responsibility for your own safety and understand Arcadis Health and Safety Principles
  • Perform role in accordance with the Arcadis behavioural framework
  • Work as a project resource to support the successful delivery of specific outputs individually or as part of a team
  • Develop awareness and understanding of the contribution of the wide project community in the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop awareness of the contribution that GEC teams make in the overall delivery of tasks and the projects within Arcadis
  • Build analytical and project management skills as well as developing communication skills including technical writing
  • Deliver work that meet Arcadis quality requirements
  • Use available expertise on routine tasks
  • Undertake document management including drawing registers.
  • Check own work ahead of production checking
  • Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis systems
  • Successfully complete assigned technical tasks within allotted time frames and budgets
  • Sign up to training plan for professional development and attend appropriate events
  • Attend appropriate conferences and events
  • Assist in project management analysis and benchmarking, to collate project data and compile database for determining durations of future projects.
  • Contribute to a range of project management assignments by assisting in practical tasks, and work with senior colleagues to ensure programmes of work are undertaken and project milestones are met such as planning, project controls, programme reporting, risk management and general project management functions, and notify more senior colleagues of any discrepancies to ensure nagement has access to up-
  • to-date and accurate information to aid their decision-making

  • Understand and comply with risk and compliance principles, taking standard corrective action or reporting unsafe or inappropriate situations in order to ensure the delivery of project management assignments are not adversely impacted
  • Collect data and help to prepare supporting documentation such as dashboards and reports, to ensure senior management have quality information to facilitate their decision-making
  • Monitor ptoject management processes, share knowledge and provide feedback on existing procedures in order to identify opportunities for the improvement of processes and systems
  • Apply practical methods and expertise to solve problems raised by colleagues in a timely and accurate manner, in order to effectively support the project management function
  • Provide advice on simple project management queries to internal or external stakeholders, escalating more complex matters to senior colleagues when required, ensuring an efficient and high-
  • quality provision of information

  • Commit to receiving on the job technical training by performing tasks, which are under the direct supervision of more experienced staff within well defined limits
  • Participate in Arcadis knowledge sharing activities
  • Work with a Mentor to develop technical excellence at the start of a structured training programme under GEC Training Academy
  • Key Qualifications

  • Have a BSc Engg, Diploma in PM or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • At least 1-2 years of construction experience in consultancy or contracting.
