Based on the project site, reports to Section Manager or to Project Manager, for liaising and coordination with contractors and client on all Mechanical aspects of the project
To coordinate the construction activities of the Contractor in assigned areas with the objective of ensuring the works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
To plan with the Contractor the resources needed on site each and every shift in order to meet targets, and then monitor material and equipment requirements in order to ensure that these are procured in a timely manner by the Contractor
Review with Contractor to agree on and ensure adequate resources are mobilized to achieve program targets
To perform checks the quality of work in order to prevent rework
Ensure quality of works in accordance with Quality Management Plan of Contractor.
To Supervise monitor work progress of Contractor in the field against baseline and supervise performance of works. Guide and advise and focus Contractor to achieve programme milestone dates.
Also record keeping of lost time, variations, progress, claims, survey conformance.
Supervise the Contractor performance by ensuring their resources and materials on site are sufficient in order to achieve the required production and quality of product each and every shift
To review and approve work method statements submitted by Contractor in order to ensure that all personnel are aware of what has to be done.
Ensure quality of works in accordance with Quality Management Plan including development of Method Statements
To audit to ensure safe documented work practices are being adopted in order that personnel and the public are not endangered.
Ensure all works are in compliance with company safety policies in order to avoid accidents or injuries
To monitor construction activities in order to ensure that dust, noise and silt flow do not affect the surrounding environment
Be aware of all stakeholders in the project and ensure that AECOM and Republic policy of having no detrimental impact on the environment is adhered to in all construction activities
To understand specification and drawings and verify works done in order to ensure works meet the requirement
Check drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
Other duties as directed.
10 years relevant experience.
Good interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
Experience working in Construction Company with site experience.
Slip form works
Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 implementation.
Self-motivated and independent.
Preference is given to Filipino Locals / Residents in Iligan, Teresa, Batangas.
