PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation, analysis, development and maintenance of Web Analytic tools in collaboration with SGS business units
  • Give technical and business inputs to the SGS.COM Management Team in terms of streamlining business and web processes, and updating methodologies
  • REPORTING LINE Internet Marketing Supervisor SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Web Analytics Web Trends (Administration) Provides support in creation and deletion of accounts and maintaining of access rights Extraction of reports based on business needs Customization and development of reports based on business needs Analyzing data logs to ensure report accuracy Analysis and creation of mock logs to ensure report accuracy Making sure that profiles are properly managed Provides Web Analytics training, coaching, mentoring to Internet Marketing team Provides Web Analytics functionality and reports training to affiliates Research and testing for additional web analytic tools
  • Web Analytics (Development) Analytics setup and configuration Script and tag configuration Web Analytics integration with other business tools Advanced customization and development of reports based on business needs Secondary tasks and duties
  • Web Analytics (Analysis) Work with the Web Marketing / WebTrends Specialist on improvements of the interface, tracking and monitoring capabilities of the WebTrends platform Provide analysis and recommendations for measuring online metrics of SGS.
  • Com and SGS websites Optimize implementation and monitoring of web analytics on the corporate website (covers V2 and V3) Identify effective and ineffective website elements and recommend improvements specific to conversion rates, user experience / user satisfaction, retention, etc.

    Work with the Internet Marketing Team Supervisor in the development and enhancement of benchmark criteria against competitors for SEO, Paid Search and Social Media metrics Performs testing and analysis on new / applicable web analytics tools and other various Internet Marketing tools Generate regular weekly / monthly reports to pre-

    agreed specifications covering analysis of web analytics, and search marketing data, trends, opportunities, etc. Work with the Internet Marketing Team Supervisor for the continuous enhancement of current internal processes, methodologies and systems of the Internet Marketing Team and SGS.

    Com Proactively look for ways to improve day-to-day efficiency and automation of activities / tasks

    PROFILE

  • At least 2 years experience related to e-Marketing (preferably SEO keyword research, link building, page optimisation and web analytics reporting) required;
  • B2B experience an advantage

  • University graduate in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, Computer Science, Social Sciences
  • IT literate with extensive experience in internet
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience / Technical Knowledge (Working knowledge on HTML, web usability principles, best practices and a solid understanding of the user experience and efficient information architecture and structure Proficient knowledge of how the main major search engines rank results Proficient knowledge in SEO verticals such as link building, keyword research and on-
  • page optimization Use of Content Management Systems and Web Analytics software / tools Use of Adobe Dreamweaver, other Adobe applications and other related web development tools an advantage Relevant experience in search marketing and the management of multiple web development projects an advantage Familiar with a range of commonly used search marketing metrics, and their significance to diverse situations Understanding of marketing principles Process oriented Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines Technology and Team-
