Partner closely with the Commodity Managers to optimize related areas of expenditure for Commodity activities
Identify, established and implement short term and long term cost reduction strategies
Drive alternate sourcing for risk mitigation and cost improvement with consideration of supplier quality, delivery performance and capacity
Create documents needed for Request for Proposals and Quotations
Review Bill of Materials (BoM) costing and drive savings implementations
Data analysis and administrative support of procurement strategies (e.g. Spend analysis, Contracts Coverage, Market intelligence)
Review and compile specification and / or parametric data for Sourcing activities or Risk Management
Perform and collect due diligence information required for evaluating and approving new suppliers
Research, review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing process and develop strategies to enhance or further leverage the process
Bachelor’s Degree : Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain focusing or data analysis and reporting
Proficient with MS Excel
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment
Comfortable working at senior management level and supporting executive leadership
Strong analytical skills; could evaluate, analyze and present data
Expert at connecting to data sources and normalizing data for reporting
Attention to detail; initiative, follow-up, and a desire for end-to-end ownership of deliverables
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility to handle directional changes and ability to support multiple projects while maintaining day-to-day business support
Ability to comprehensively understand data elements, sources and relationships
Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment
Must have a passion to understand the operational value of data and analysis
