Deutsche Knowledge Services (DKS) operates as a shared service center for Finance, Global Business Services and IT. A wholly owned subsidiary* of the Deutsche Bank Group, operating out of the Phillipinnes, DKS provides accounting, reporting, profit and loss, cost, reconciliation, MIS, risk control, information technology and operations services (including confirmations and settlements) to internal businesses worldwide.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for leading the research and project managing the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 16, Leases, standard implementation for the Bank
Lead IFRS 16 Working Group Manila with design and population of historical IFRS 16 implact templates for historical transactions and intercompany adjustments
Responsible for the preparation of initial requirements and act as primary contact of the IFRS 16 Working Group Manila in respect to the impact to the Bank
Responsible to prepare and review of training materials and and provide group wide training materials on these new IFRS, on relevant areas and recent developments
Responsible to develop and contribute to group wide accounting policies in respect of IFRS 16
Responsible for managing ad-hoc requests and deliverables for internal & external
Lead the team in preparation of restatement disclosures and workings for revised financial statements as a result of opening balance adjustments
Responsible primarily for the query handling of the onshore counterparts with regards to IFRS 16
Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to business partner and act as a conduit to all levels of seniority
Proven experience in accounting or audit gained from an auditing firm or other banking, finance or finance roles in large regional / global organization.
People management experience.
