Mondelēz International Position Overview

  • Manages the over-all 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers of warehouse & transportation requirements of Mondelez in VISMIN
  • Manages and implements control to safeguards the company’s assets stored inside the 3PL warehouses and offices that include Finished Goods, Merchandising / Promo materials, Computer units, Printers, Networks, etc.
  • Collaborates with Mondelez internal stakeholders, e.g. Customer Service, Product Supply, Impex and Plant Logistics for the efficient execution of warehousing and delivery of Finished Goods to customers ensuring the highest service level at an optimum cost.
  • Manages the technical requirements of warehouse and inventory systems in SAP systems, B2B interface systems of customers, 3PL system interface to Mondelez SAP systems and the systems requirements of Logistics initiatives and projects
  • Position Accountability Summary

  • Manages the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) service providers of warehouse & trucking service providers in Vismin by ensuring that a.
  • global operating standards in product storage / handling, quality, and good warehousing practices are consistently observed at all times across the whole areas of operations;
  • and b.) efficient distribution of goods while maintaining product quality & target service levels to customers, thereby, the interfaced orders are processed complete and delivered in full and on time and in the most cost-effective manner.

  • Designs and implements robust detailed processes aligned to achieve Best in Class inventory accuracy through efficient management of inventory and delivery processes of in Vismin.
  • Orchestrates the monthly and / or quarterly wall to wall inventory count taking and leads the reconciliation process together with the 3PL Inventory teams to ensure that all inventory variances are fully accounted for.

  • Collaborates effectively with Customer Service, Supply and Demand Planning, Impex and Plant Logistics to ensure flawless execution of plans and programs related to warehousing and delivery of stocks from all warehouses in Vismin
  • Designs and initiates effective programs to all 3PLs in Vismin ensuring highest degree of their employee’s engagement, thus, ultimately will promote great result and impact to operational efficiency
  • Designs and Implements cost saving and efficiency opportunities in all warehouses & transportation operations in Vismin including the on-
  • time executions and monitoring of productivity projects related to warehouse and delivery operation

  • Administers the warehouse and distribution operations in Vismin
  • Technical expert in the conduct of GWP audits with 3PL warehouse and delivery operations in Vismin and serves as a consultant of Distributors / Customers on these matters
  • Leads the Logistic teams in audit preparation and during the conduct of all types of audits across the warehouse and distribution operations in Vismin.
  • This includes strong collaboration within all Mondelez Departments

  • Technical resource person to system interface, e.g. B2B projects, 3PL system and technical initiatives projects
  • This is a fixed term role for 6 months.

    Qualifications

    Experience :

  • Minimum 2 years experienced in managing 3rd Party Logistics provider
  • Sound knowledge in logistics management preferably in Warehousing and Transportation
  • Good knowledge and trained in financial analysis and its principles
  • Has in-depth knowledge on good warehouse practices (GWP)
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication
  • Excellent presentation skills
