Talent Acquisition Specialist ISpecialist I, Talent Acquisition JOB DESCRIPTION THE ROLE :

  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist I (TAS 1) is responsible for the hiring process at a Service Delivery Center. You will work closely with site TA team to coordinate recruiting efforts as needed.
  • The successful candidate is expected to ensure hiring goals are met by providing a professional hiring experience to all candidates.

    This includes assistance in completing reference checks, background checks, drug tests, screening resumes and applications scheduling onsite interviews, and completing paper work for each individual hire.

  • While TAS I function as part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for achieving aggressive individual recruitment goals -
  • which are monitored constantly. You are expected to be able to quickly adapt plans and shift directions in order to meet ever-

    changing client requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Achieve 100% of assigned agent recruiting targets including daily, weekly, and monthly recruiting goals associated with each client ramp, which must be met on time with high-quality candidates.
  • Understand key business objectives, timeframes, legal issues, and requirements associated with each new client.
  • Ensure compliance with the organizations’ recruitment strategy to ensure that the site continuously meets business recruitment requirements.
  • Understand candidate selection process. Responsible for the administration of the candidate process for all open associate positions including but not limited to : greeting of applicants, reviewing applications, input data into Applicant Tracking System, administering testing materials, assist with data entry (assessment scores, decline candidates, send assessment emails and other correspondence).
  • Work cohesively and collaboratively within Human Capital, Learning and Leadership, and Talent Acquisition teams - to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all potential candidates.
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts in the assessment of employees for different roles.
  • Ensure a positive experience for every candidate. Must be able to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring attitude with all candidates even those that will not be offered a position at TeleTech.
  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and the corporate environment.
  • Conduct efficient and effective interviews. Able to learn and become proficient in behavioral interviewing including conducting short, effective interviews which uncover a candidate’s true desire, motivation, and suitability for an Associate role at TeleTech.
  • Utilize company tools such as applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants through the selection phase up to on-boarding.
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.

  • Great interpersonal skills with candidates of all ages and backgrounds
  • Ability to articulate, interact and understand client needs and expectations
  • Ability to influence others by example, coaching, and mentoring
  • Experience with candidate tracking database, Excel, Internet, and other recruitment technology
  • High level of integrity, judgment and follow-through
  • Strong attention to detail JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Graduate of a 4-year business course, preferably in Human Resources and / or Psychology.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including proper grammar and perfect spelling.
  • Previous experience or exposure to the call center / BPO industry recruitment process is an advantage!
  • Some exposure to applicant tracking systems would be helpful, but is not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Professional but friendly telephone manner.
  • A strong interest in developing a career in HR or Recruitment.
  • The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
