Position Responsibilities / Requirements

JOB SUMMARY :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator in our office in Macapagal Blvd, Pasay City. This role report to the Service Delivery Manager.

This person will deploy release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and integrate system testing performance of PC / server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.

  • Install, maintain and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
  • Control user access and passwords.
  • Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.
  • Monitor usage and performance.
  • Train personnel on system usage.
  • Troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues.
  • Assist with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and / or software upgrades or repairs.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products.
  • Support Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.
  • Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
  • EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

  • Must have 3 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator using Guardian / HP NonStop Operating System and HP Nonstop Integrity Server administration.
  • Knowledge in Guardian Utilities : SCF (Kernel, Subsystems and Storage), CLIM / VIO module, Pathway, Batchcom / Netbatch, SCF, TMF, OCA, HLS, SNAX, TCPIP, DSMSCM, TELSERV, EMS, Messaging, Storage, Mediacom, NSKCOM, SHH / SSL,SQLCI, Peruse and Spoolcom and other related utilities.
  • Knowledge of TACL Programming.
  • Experience in HSM Network Security Processor Management and Configuration.
  • Experience on basic Windows Server Administration and knowledge on network devices.
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public.
