Position Responsibilities Requirements :


We have an exciting opportunity for a Webpay Support Engineer in Salcedo Village, Makati City. The role reports to the Software Development Manager.

The main responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to customers and operators of the Webpay Transaction Server Payment System.

To be able to fulfil the role the candidate will require strong problem-solving skills, experience in troubleshooting complex systems, good communication skills and a strong will to succeed.

The role also requires the candidate to support the Product team to manage and maintain internal environments.


  • Acts as focal point for all project or production queries and incidents for Webpay installations managed outside of the Australasian region.
  • Facilitates status meetings working through issue management and resolution. Maintains status reports, issue and action logs, and documentation.
  • Performs technical and functional tasks as required by the customer or product team.
  • Provides immediate tactical response and coordination for production support issues.
  • Update development server infrastructure to ensure software and tools used is kept current.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • 3-8 years’ application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project, preferably in a Banking or Financial industry.
  • Experienced in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experienced in Web Technologies such as Browser, HTTP applications
  • Experienced in Application Servers such as Tomcat, Webphere.
  • Must have database experience, SQL Server or Oracle databases.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial messaging; AS2805, ISO8583, 3D Secure is advantageous.
  • Suggest technical alternatives and improves / streamlines processes and systems.
  • Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
  • May provide leadership and / or guidance to other technical professionals.
