About the Position We are seeking an energetic self-motivated Project Manager to join Caspio Professional Services team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements and managing the quality delivery of Caspio's Professional Services (PS) implementations based on the Statement of Work and agreed upon scope, timeline, and approved budgets.

This position will liaise with various internal departments and work simultaneously on multiple customer projects from inception to successful completion.

The candidate works with global customers, majority from US and the schedule should cover US time zone. The schedule will be 4PM 1AM.

Responsibilities

  • Manage custom implementations of Caspio’s platform through the project lifecycle resulting in successful completion and delivery of projects in scope, on budget, and on time with high customer satisfaction and adoption.
  • Develop and conduct presentations of departmental services and capabilities to prospective and existing customers. Recommend configurable solutions to reduce manual processes.
  • Effectively interpret and document customer’s business requirements and determine scope of projects through interviews, technical walk through, and analysis.
  • Work closely with Developers to design efficient and automated systems, clarify customer requirements, provide estimates and timelines, and create factual and accurate Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Obtain approval from customers on proposals and SOWs. Facilitate any necessary revisions and / or changes in scope and costs to ensure mutual understanding to proceed.
  • Plan and manage the progress of projects to achieve set milestones. Provide leadership to identify and clear barriers to implementation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate necessary and appropriate information to customers, team members, and management in a timely manner to establish and maintain trusted advisor status.
  • Manage the QA process to ensure high quality of deliverables.
  • Conduct final walk through with customers, resolve open issues / discrepancies, and obtain final acceptance and sign-off upon completion of the project.
  • Maintain and continue to expand high level of proficiency with Caspio Bridge including latest product features and enhancements.
  • Education :

  • BS Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or in a related field.
  • Experience :
  • 4+ years of experience in web application consulting or working as a Project Manager or Business Analyst in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

  • Thorough understanding of database design, table relationships, joins and SQL.
  • Thorough understanding of XML, WSDL (SOAP), REST, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Thorough understanding of agile and waterfall project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers to document, design, and facilitate project implementation while managing customer expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize business processes and translate business requirements into software and technical solutions.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical subject matter in a clear and easy to understand manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to anticipate, prioritize, assess, and meet needs of internal and external customers while providing excellent customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage projects of varying sizes and complexity, including coordination with remote team members.
  • Ability to multitask and manage conflicting and changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction with a positive, professional demeanor.
