Our Philippines facility, being the first B / E manufacturing site in Asia, is engaged in manufacturing and assembly of Lavatory, Galley and Galley Insert products for the commercial aircraft segment.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Tech II -

Test in our Refrigeration business located in FPIP, Tanauan Batangas, Philippines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Tech II - Test has the following duties :

  • Inspects assemblies and / or finished products in accordance with applicable specifications and / or regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Follows company’s inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment and systems.
  • Certifies the acceptance of the assemblies and / or finished products in accordance with the applicable specifications, design requirements and / or regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of source.
  • Handle more complex equipment and machinery
  • Train other assemblers in the standard work and explain requirements and key points.
  • Ability to perform quick failure analysis and propose actions to the team lead / supervisor
  • Help in identifying any possible process deviation and create counter measures in coordination with his / her immediate supervisor.
  • Has leadership skills, a good communicator both verbal and written
  • Give suggestions to Supervisors on how to maximize production operation with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
  • Has the initiative in work and a good team worker
  • Work with Quality Team to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company systems and procedures, meeting customer / international
  • Work with continuous improvement teams to support CI culture and lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

  • At least vocational / technical degree or 1 year in college , preferably mechanical and electrical related
  • Four-to-Seven years related experience and / or training; Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Analytical reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Knowledgeable in the prescribed test equipment
  • Experience in modern manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Knowledgeable in Quality Management System requirements
