Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wood Plc, has been awarded the Asset Management Services Contract, to deliver the full scopes of maintenance services and projects execution for the Malampaya Project, one of the most significant energy investments in the history of the Philippines.

The Malampaya facilities are situated at offshore Palawan, onshore gas plant in Batangas and our office is at Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa City.

We are currently hiring for a Logistics Coordinator who has the following responsibilities :

  • Coordinate flight schedules and passenger look aheads for project personnel
  • Communicate and, where possible, close out any issues timely surrounding check-in of personnel
  • Communicate with all relevant parties to ensure that all passengers are fully managed and reported using master rota in conjunction with the client’s logistics team
  • Provide support to personnel who are new to the Project
  • Develop and maintain a strong network within project and act as the focal point for the employees / project in connection to all mobilization linked queries
  • Coordinate payable exceptions as appropriate to ensure that offshore personnel are paid additional / amended payments in an efficient manner
  • Order and arrange PPE to be issued to new start personnel
  • Ensure that accommodation arrangements are made for personnel travelling to and from the instillation
  • Support the HR Advisor in down man activities in line with best practice to minimize potential costs and maximize cost efficiency
  • Work autonomously and actively seek out areas for development and improvement within the business
  • Provide monthly reports to the HR Advisor and operations management as required
  • Skills / Qualifications

  • Logistics Coordinator experience with large scale shutdown
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications including Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Knowledge of training standards and competencies required for offshore personnel
  • Experience with hook-up logistics
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to present self confidently
  • Data rational
  • Attention to detail
  • Hands on person who likes to get involved in the detail and follow through on situations to completion
  • Good organizational skills
