Role Summary This role is strategic in proving procurement related administrative support to Global Procurement Office (GPO) by ensuring all projects submitted by each business units in the GPO Intake Tool will be captured, assessed and distributed to the proper point person.

This role is responsible in monitoring and ensuring that each project submitted in the tool will be completed. Key Accountabilities

  • Actively monitors GPO Intake Tool and ensure business needs were captured from start to end.
  • Assess complexity and risk level of the project / request submitted to the intake tool and decide WHO to involve.
  • Ensure company compliance policies / standards / business procedures / documentation requirements are adhered to.
  • Provide assistance, guidance and necessary training to stake holders to ensure each task in the intake tool process will be completed
  • Look for appropriate vendor in VMF (approved vendor)
  • Utilize and manage the systems and tools used during the procurement process.
  • Ensure effective written communication with vendor / Business Units and Strategic Sourcing Staff during the procurement process
  • Obtain Reports for distribution to team during project engagements;
  • Create and update database files to establish quick references
  • Run scheduled and unscheduled reports for internal stakeholders
  • Other assignments as required.
  • Skills / Qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 year(s) working experience in procurement particularly receiving, sourcing, processing and assessing procurement request.
  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma in business or above
  • Education background in Procurement, fundamental understanding of basic contract terms / condition is an asset
  • Proficient business English (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with large scale company systems, databases and reporting tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and service oriented attitude
  • Exceptional multitasking skills with an aptitude to make the right decision on competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS excel, Word, Access
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving capability
  • Attentive to details and quality, well-organized, innovative and result driven
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative
  • Exercises good judgment
  • Operates in a professional and ethical manner with customers and vendors

  • The applicant must be willing to report in Diliman, Quezon City
  • The applicant must be willing for a night shift schedule
