Detailed Description and Job Requirements
This executive position is responsible for an increasingly diverse practice based upon complexity of the customers, the solutions, and the dollar value of the practice.
Oversees business operations and resources of a practice or Line of Business (LOB). Fully accountable for managing the three main pillars of a practice : people management, portfolio / delivery management and sales enablement.
Leads or participates in the creation of Line of Business vision and strategy to ensure profitable growth and financial success.
Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities and staff that support this vision / strategy. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial / expense management of a line of business / practice.
Accountable for setting and driving strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, operational / financial metrics, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability.
Defines programs that support the launch of new technologies, products or services. Responsible for cultivating Oracle cross-
functional communications through the creation and maintenance of strategic relationships with other lines of business which may include Product Development, Product Marketing, Support, Consulting Sales, and License Sales.
Provides key input to the Product Development organization in defining the product / technology strategy and direction. This is a customer-
facing executive role that interacts with other executives, both internally and externally, regarding matters that influence policies and strategies, and develops new approaches / opportunities for satisfying customers and expanding the business base.
Provides executive sponsorship for strategic programs that extend beyond the practice.
12+ years of experience relevant to this position including 6 years of consulting management experience with P&L or financial management responsibility.
proficient at managing managers and large team. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus.
Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
MBA recommended. Ability to travel as needed.
