PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generally responsible for maintaining the safety, quality management system and for ensuring the business’s compliance to the Global Business policies and procedures, Corporate Governance, Health and Safety, Operational Integrity, other required management system standards, applicable laws, and approved customer-related commitments.

  • This position report to Safety and Audit Manager
  • SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that the Management responsibilities related to management review, documentation and records control, corrective and preventive action, and customer satisfaction are carried out as planned.
  • Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System
  • Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support ofdepartmental goal or for his / her personal or professional training, educationor development as programmed by his / her immediate superior.

    Complies with the QHSE policies including but not limited to :

    Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS HSE Policies,Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings,completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafework, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related toHSE.

    Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assistsother staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies withinthe workplace.

    In accordance with the SGS HSE Management Systemrequirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as apart of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all wastetransportation and disposal regulations and requirements.

    Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) inaccordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.

    Uses all equipment(including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.

    Maintain a safe and tidyworksite.

    Maintains awareness ofhazards and proposes controls to supervisor, HSE Representatives or relevantclient / site contact.

    Actively participates inincident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGSmanagement.

    PROFILE

    College Graduate (Any 4 yearcourse)

    Experience : 3 yearsrelated technical and supervisory experience

    Lead Auditor Course ISO QMSCertified

  • BOSH Training
  • Willing to be assignedanywhere in the Philippines

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Hasthe ability to make professional judgements, with strong analytical skills,problem-solving skills

    Hasthe ability to work with various cross-cultural people .

  • Is keen on understanding significance of deviations found with regard to the normal use of the products or processes concerned
  • Has the ability to make professional judgement as to the conformity with general requirements using examination results and to report there on
  • Office system applications : Excel, PowerPoint, Word or any related desktop applications
  • Language

    Fluent inEnglish (both written and verbal)
