Job Description :

  • Develop market and sell commercial tires to dealers / customers / users with fleet focus
  • Plan and implement sales activities in assigned area in order to achieve agreed commercial tires sales volume, pricing and selling cost objectives aligned with the overall commercial sales strategy
  • Perform direct fleet visit in order to develop commercial market , create end user profiling, fleet audit, weight study and conduct fleet inspection to provide better solution to end users
  • Perform focus / marketing test in conjuction with new commercial tire development project, assessment / evaluation of tire performance & data collection report for country and Commercial PBU
  • Conduct proper training to commercial distributors, wholesalers, dealer and direct fleet as part of market development
  • Handle market intelligence and update on timely basis competitors activities, inclusive of competitor pricing program, marketing activities and product survey.
  • Manage the execution of all sales programs within the assigned sales area to achieve sales objectives
  • Ensure submission of monthly dealer / fleet owner reporting based on stock, sell-in sell-out, forecasting and collection and implementation of coop / retail program for dealer / fleet
  • Handle claims , conduct focus test tire and present the performance result aligned with technical support / field engineers
  • Provide sales and marketing analysis and report in timely manner. Participate actively in any assignment of special project
  • Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years solid experience in field and technical sales gained in Tire and Automotive Industry
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience in fleet channel management, key account management, field sales operations, technical and product training and market intelligence
  • Knowledgeable with tires such as tire construction, product performance, tire testing and tire segmentation
  • Must have tire maintenance and diagnosis experiences such as mounting and dismounting tires and tire repair
  • Knowledge on tire mileage analysis, cost per kilometer concept, V-Box, road mapping, portable weighing for bus and trucks and scrap tire analysis an advantage
  • Work experience in building partnership with local market gained in a multinational company an advantage
  • With excellent selling, financial acumen, training and presentation skills
  • With valid driver's license
