We have a career opportunity for a Programmer Analyst role. The role will report to a Development Manager.

This position works closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards.

Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

Assists with development of new code or maintaining existing code. Responsibilities includes participation in development, support and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical support for regional customers.
  • Provide application software development services.
  • Develop program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications.
  • Trouble shooting, debugging, analysis, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining software applications.
  • Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented.
  • Analyze requirements, and translates business requirements into product designs.
  • Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
  • Suggest technical alternatives and improves / streamlines processes and systems.
  • Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.

  • Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Requires two (2) or more years of demonstrated experience in Java based software development.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development).
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed SLAs.
  • Ability and experience communicating with customers, managers and developers.
  • Advanced problem resolution, analysis and continual service improvement skills.
  • Solid understanding of Web Technologies : HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, AJAX.

    Java SE and EE experience : Servlets, JDBC, Hibernate, Spring, XSL.

    Strong decision making skills.

    Preferred Skills on

    Financial) Cards and Payments experience.

    Audit awareness and experience within Financial and IT back ground.

    PCI-DSS or PA-DSS experience.
