APAC Business Shared Service Centre Manila is a multi-functional shared service Centre that will handle DIAGEO-wide transactions across Asia regions.

APAC SSC is a multicultural, multi-language environment. Top Accountabilities :

  • Prepare draft financial statements for Diageo Thailand Statutory Entity
  • Complete Transfer Pricing template (Bi-annual) for Diageo Thailand
  • Manage external auditor for Statutory Audit of the 6 Entities
  • Manage information for income tax computations (quarterly and annual) for Diageo Thailand
  • Support the work of in-country Tax Manager re WHT / VAT / Excise and PYA and Corporate income Tax for the Thailand entity
  • Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to in lines with CARM processes through Country by Country reconciliations (CBCR) on, Indirect Taxes (Duties, VAT) and Payroll Taxes.
  • Prepare quality reconciliations through deep understanding of the figures supported, reported and ensure follow up and action item is taken and closed.
  • Prepare, issue and answer queries on vendor EWT’s
  • Prepare and post accruals / adjustments / other required journals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
  • Post and reconcile (Customs) payments
  • Prepare monthly actual excise and duty payments schedule on a per brand level including Purchase price variance
  • Decision support for business partners through value add analysis, thorough understanding of movements on accounts, the business reason behind those, and collection and presentation of Risk & Opportunities via Quarterly Balance Sheet Review
  • Key Criteria to be successful in this role :

  • University / College degree in finance / accounting / business
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment
  • Internal / external audit experience and / or SOX is an advantage
  • Experience with Shared Services process activities is an advantage
  • Capable of working in a deadline driven environment
  • Experience of working in a multi-national financial environment
  • Fluent in Thai and English
