Description The Supply Chain Team Leader is responsible for overseeing a team of Supply Chain Analyst that supports the Sourcing or Manufacturing group of Ridge Tool Company worldwide.
He / She is considered as the conduit of projects between Ridge Tool and Manila Supply Chain Analyst. The Team Leader is the escalation point for project and performance issues in Manila.
The Team Leader will also be responsible in providing the necessary coaching and trainings to ensure the success of the team in achieving the objectives.
At the same time, the Team Leader is expected to spend 30-70% of the time, depending on team size and projects, as an Analyst, mostly working on critical projects and those that require a higher level of analysis.
The Team Leader Supply Chain is task to identify process improvements and savings opportunity that directly impact the company P&L.
He / She is also responsible for the preparation of financial exhibits and presentations for submission to the VP of Sourcing for the company profitability & perfect execution reviews.
The Supply Chain TL identifies issues and communicates areas for improvement to achieve effectiveness and efficiency Responsibilities Manage overall Analyst performance and on-
time delivery of PMP reviews : Conduct Soft Review (Midyear) with staff.Team's training plan vs. actual hit rate, including application to the job : take note of the improvement in work brought by the training.
Maintain an acceptable attrition level within the team.Hiring of analyst vs HR cycle timeParticipation in fiscal year planning meeting, communications meeting and social activities, events membership, etc.
Good Collaboration with the Supply Chain teams and Operations group Lead Monthly Meeting with Counterpart to discuss project and team update.
Cultivate a culture of coaching and learning : conducts 1 : 1 meeting with staff, team meetings as wellConducts effective learning sessions with team members.
Facilitate venues where learning can be acquired and applied : forums, benchmarking, leadership talks, etc.Encourage staff to facilitate meetings / calls with counterparts.
Staff Coaching : Ridge Tool leadership role (succession planning) Identify Implement productivity improvement (KRA)Manage own and staff workload utilization, leaves, work schedule, Overtimes, strictly monitoring of tardiness Support Manila initiatives on the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan (Call Tree and Laptop inventory) which would also include process documentation (QMS), LEAN initiatives and 6S.
Support best practice sharing initiatives Support synergy opportunities within Manila operations group and Emerson. Promote Manila Supply Chain capabilities and supports collaboration between business units and the rest of manila supply chain groups.
Update counterparts on activities / projects such as workload, leaves, Overtime, holidays, trainings, BCP, process improvement, opportunities, projects, etc.
Participation during con-call meeting, project review with counterparts and visitors.Project tie-up with other ECRS group in Manila.
Manage and support Emerson / Ridge Tool initiatives. Maintain a high level of quality on existing supporta. Business Unit Specific Supportb.
Identify and implement process improvementsc. Ensure all team reports and analysis provided are accurate and delivered on time.
d. Provide Global Support in Supply Chain Management, and continue to position the team as the focal point in the coordination and management.
