Job Description

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to June, 2013) :

  • Primary Functions :

  • Teaches vocational courses to the blind, disabled and special groups;
  • Submits reports on evaluation of trainees in coordination with other rehabilitation workers;
  • Prepares and introduces new improvised instructional aides, methods and devices;
  • Implements social mobilization and organizes provincial federations of elderly and disabled persons;
  • Maintains upkeep of equipment;
  • Administers periodic tests and evaluation to determine level of learning and performance of clients;
  • Refers and / or administers trade tests recommendations to TESDA for proper licensure and eventual job placement;
  • Coordinates with the rehabilitation of team members assessing clients for job placement and / or return to family / community;
  • Coordinates with LGUs and the association to identify needs, and determine programs and services that suits local conditions and needs of clients;
  • taps resources to improve knowledge and skills for technology transfer to clients;
  • Advocates for support from other agencies for enhancement of skills to MDOs;
  • Prepares and submits assessment reports and other requirements;
  • Monitors the implementation of programs and services provided;
  • Acts as resource person when requested;
  • Performs all other related tasks as may be assigned.
