Description

  • Implements QA standards in in-process andfinished goods checking to ensure product consistency
  • Collaborates with Plant Operations personnel toensure and uphold product integrity, safety and quality
  • Supports VoC investigations, process-monitoringand improvements
  • Inprocess inspection to ensure 100% conformance to standard

  • Validates production process control points byperforming in-process audits and checks including but not limited tomeasurements of moisture, PDI, PSD, Aw, product dimensions and nutritionalspecifications.
  • Help ensure that documented processes and process standards areimplemented

  • Develops and implements qualitative andquantitative test procedures for in-process inspection to ensure productconsistency, quality, safety and integrity at all times
  • Complements plant efforts in addressingprocessing issues
  • Carry out special projects as may be assignedfrom time to time by in-process Coordinator, Lab Supervisor or the LaboratoryManager
  • Identification of inprocess control points whichneeds improvement
  • Provides weekly report in monitoring in-processand finished product quality conformance or non-conformances
  • Coordinates directly with Production on alldetected non-compliances
  • Helps in finding solutions to non-conformances
  • Ensures monitoring inspection of productionpreventive maintenance, pest control and housekeepingand that observed deficiencies directlyaffecting product qualityarecommunicated and acted upon
  • Ensures that reported findings have correctiveactions, immediately executed and verified.
  • Facilitate physical quality related complaints,returned feeds & stock aging monitoring
  • Develop and implement procedures in handlingphysical quality related complaints, returned feeds and stock aging
  • Safety

  • Be familiar with general safety policies andguidelines in the plant and ensure compliance
  • Ensure that physicalsafety and food safety requirements are being met all the time, any deviationsare acted upon promptly and accordingly
  • Required Qualifications

  • College graduate or equivalent education andexperience
  • Minimum of 2 years in QA programs inmanufacturing environment
  • Experience and exposure to manufacturingprocesses
  • Computer literate, familiarity with MS Office
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Skilled in Conflict management
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • College graduate preferred, BS in Chemicalengineering or related courses
  • Exposure in the implementation of QA programs,Quality systems in manufacturing
  • Quality Assurance / Food Safety
