This Position is primarily responsible for ensuring that the GPS day team performs critical work that directly supports TRUSTe’s / TrustArc’s customers.

 This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Privacy Support. The day team consists of two subteams : the certification team and the technical analyst team.

Primary activities that the Global Privacy Solutions team is responsible for : conducting privacy analysis for our customers, completing reports, checking customer implementations to ensure they adhere to TRUSTe’s standards, technical scanning and associated report creation, and other related duties.

 Work that is completed by the AM team is critically important for TRUSTe’s privacy certifications and provides significant value to new and renewing customers.Â

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Effectively lead and supervise the AM shift team, which owns, manages, and supports client relationships and service delivery.
  • Ensure that services are delivered consistently and successfully.
  • Supervise team workload by effectively assigning and ensuring successful completion per defined quantity and quality-related service levels.
  • Communicate regularly, accurately and effectively with the Sr. Manager, Privacy Support.
  • Ensure that the AM team consistently delivers TRUSTe’s products and services in a manner that continually enhances service delivery and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of customer business models.
  • Assist in delivering refresher training to enable all team members to complete work that is deemed invaluable by TRUSTe’s customers and show continuous improvement.
  • Take on new initiatives that help TRUSTe or its customers exceed goals or expectations.
  • Conducts 1 : 1 coaching and mentoring with each member of the AM team to ensure on-time delivery of goals.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager in assessing and reviewing the work performance of each AM team member.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager in recruitment activities for the GPS team.
  • Act as the role model to all GPS team to effectively discipline among team members.
  • Inspire and motivate employees.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.
  • Educational Requirements :

  • Must possess a BA / BS of any field is required
  • Basic Requirements :

  • At least 3 years with prior supervisory experience handling direct teams.
  • Excellent facility in the English language, both oral and written.
  • Effectively interact and communicate across all departments.
  • Ability to analyze complex environments and define / monitor, and effectively communicate actionable plans that drive forward progress.
  • Must approach problem-solving in a logical, analytical manner and must pay strict attention to details.
  • Be able to get along with and proactively manage all personality types and to drive win / win solutions and environments with everyone most of the time.

  • Technical Skills :

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems (Blackberry and Windows Phone is a plus but not required)
  • Ability to execute commands and use tools such as but not limited to Terminal / Command, Android debugging bridge, Odin communicator, iPhone configuration utility, xCode, Android development tools, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Network Sniffing and Analysis tools.
  • Ability to read, interpret and visualize system-level logs from logcat and console.
  • Decryption of SSL network traffic into a user-readable format, as well as general knowledge on the use and creation self-
  • signed cerfiticates using Open-SSL source together with provisioning of such certificates onto various supported devices.

  • Ability to read Java, Objective C, XML / CSS, JSON and other programming languages is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of XML (especially xPath) language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic (especially macro scripting for Excel) is a plus.
  • Have a strong desire to continually learn new online and mobile privacy knowledge and demonstrate mastery through written communications within and outside TRUSTe. Â
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in Web and / or Mobile Development and / or Programming is a plus.
  • Knowledge with Google Apps for Business (such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
  • Experience with CRM and Project management systems such as Netsuite, Â Confluence, JIRA, etc is a plus.
