Your key areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
Prepare project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. Ensure all documents and drawings are issued on time with proper quality
Assist in preparing proposal and presentation of engineering projects and programs (bill of materials, estimated engineering man hours).
Support the Project Manager in issuing claims (new / change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk qualifications, etc.
Provide quality solution per customer’s requirements and deliver within budget and contract. Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
Prepare risk and opportunity assessments and ensure implementation of resulting actions in one s area of responsibility.
Assist customers on technical issues, interact with official contact, contractors and other staff within his / her scope of deliverables.
Prepare communication pertaining to a specific assignment or meetings.
Collaborate with the Supply Chain to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated agreed on with potential suppliers.
Provides technical evaluation of supplier proposals, and accepts as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.
Key requirements include :
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
At least 7 years of experience working as an engineer including 3 years of project engineering.
Knowledge of the ABB division product portfolio and the organization preferable
Strong communication skills in English
Candidate must be customer focused, experienced in managing expectations and have the ability to prioritize and co-ordinate several projects at once.
