Relationship Manager :

  • Position Description :

  • The Relationship Manager ( RM ) is primarily responsible for providing relationship coverage for Top-Tier Local Corporate clients and supports the Senior Relationship Managers of the Corporate & Investment Banking team.
  • Primary responsibilities will include cross-selling Citi’s full suite of institutional banking products and services, transaction execution assistance, and general account / relationship maintenance with an overall objective of supporting the achievement of CIB’s strategic goals

  • The RM is expected to manage a portfolio of multi-sector, top tier corporate clients and will be accountable for overall relationship maintenance including processing of credit approvals, account opening, maintenance, and KYC update coordination, as well as support marketing and deal execution
  • The RM will have a unique opportunity of being deeply involved in the origination and execution of a broad range of vanilla and complex corporate & investment banking engagements, ranging from loan financing, cash management, trade services, hedging, debt & equity capital market offerings, and M&A advisory
  • Qualifications :

  • The position requires an individual with assertive personality, keen sense for sales / marketing, good analytical and writing skills, and a high sense of urgency
  • Preferably with 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management or relationship management at an international bank or similar roles
  • Good understanding of banking products & services and has a high level of appreciation of prudent risk management culture
  • Able to work both as an individual and within a team
  • Has the ability to lead cross-functional teams within the organization and work effectively with all levels including regional products, middle & back office functions
  • Self-starter with drive, initiative, and a high degree of eagerness to learn
  • Has keen attention to detail
  • Mature disposition with the ability to perform well in high pressure situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
