About the Role
This role is a member of the Studio and Operations team within Wells Fargo’s in-house agency (IHA). The Studio Graphic Designer assists in the production of graphic designs by utilizing design templates to produce visual design and / or layout of graphics, logos, interactive media, and marketing materials to enhance product or company brand images.
Specific duties of this role include the following :
Acts as point of contact with business partners to confirm project specifications, confirm design direction, and prepare product for final execution.
Provides support on multiple projects or project teams.
Reviews projects for accuracy, quality, and completeness to assure brand standards are met.
May act as point of contact with vendors.
Produces technically sound, content-correct files for both print and digital assignments that meet all production standards.
Executes revisions, edits, modifications, resizing, and other adjustments to previously completed work.
Consistently applies established design principles and brand standards to all assignments.
Ensures timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining strict standards of accuracy, completeness, and product quality.
Anticipates design / layout and technical problems and takes corrective steps.
Prepares files for print production, ensuring that preproduction and print standards are accurate and complete.
Accurately maintains and manages electronic files on server.
Maintains prescribed production levels while ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.
Utilizes job management system to manage workload and production time for each project.
Manages and prioritizes workload based on job deadlines.
Recommends technical and procedural updates, as needed.
Market Skills and Certifications
Interested candidates must have at least 2 years of graphic design experience and Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, or any design-related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite production applications including, but not limited to : InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash
Basic knowledge of different applications in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of print and digital / interactive production
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities in a tight deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Candidates must be willing to work in night shift
