Department Overview

BPRM is an enterprise wide program to ensure management of critical business processes with a focus on analyzing end-to-

end process steps, risks, controls, monitoring and opportunities for improvement. This is done through Compile & Stratify where the BPRM team compiles the enterprise-

wide list of business processes and conducts an assessment to prioritize the potentially high risk business processes, Analyze & Remediate where key risks, controls, and monitoring activities (including key risk and performance indicators) are assessed to determine adequacy of the control environment.

About the role

The Operational Risk Manager 1 will be responsible for overseeing, managing and providing work direction to the teams that perform risk oversight and process modeling support for Dealer Services processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Process Models - Complete process discovery, process modeling, and process improvement activities in order to document and improve business processes
  • Provide file prep support by identifying risk and controls and other required deliverables for business processes for all of Dealer Services and Direct Auto
  • Assist in completing required deliverables such as FMEA, Linkage Tables, Process Maps, and Business Reduction Opportunities for identified high risk processes in alignment with the enterprise policy
  • Data entry in corporate tools
  • Responsible for accurate, consistent, and timely reporting / communication to U.S. leadership team
  • Align work practices and standards with peers in the U.S.
  • Represent the department or function at broader level
  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices
  • Identify training needs and provide assistance for team member growth
  • Performance management
  • Maintain desired staffing level
  • Market Skills and Certifications

    Essential Qualifications :

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both;
  • or 6+ years of business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • 1+ year of leadership or management experience
  • Align work practices and standards with peers in the US
  • Take a lead role in developing and implementing best practices
  • Identify training needs and provides assistance for the team member growth
  • Performance management
  • Responsible for accurate, consistent and timely production metric / analytical reporting and communication to U.S. leadership team
  • Identifying risks and / or gaps through the trending analysis and report results to stakeholder
  • Candidates must be amenable to work at night
  • Work location is in McKinley Hill or BGC (Uptown) Taguig City
