We wish to inform you that the DSWD-NCR, National Vocational Rehabilitation Center is inviting applicants for the following vacant positions :

Ø One (1)Social Welfare Assistant

Salary Grade / Salary : 08 Php 14,931.00

Item Number : OSEC-DSWDB- SOCWAS-262-2004

Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Completion of two years studies in college

Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience

Eligibility : Career Service Sub-Professional / First Level Eligibility

Additional Requirements / Competencies :

  • Preferably graduate or at least 2 years study of related courses
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience in working with Differentially Abled Persons / Person with Disability is an advantage
  • Knowledge in Basic Sign Language is an advantage
  • Can work under pressure
  • With initiative and willingness to work beyond office hours
  • Primary Functions :

  • vMaintains data bank of clients;
  • vAssists in interviewing walk in clients who intends to avail services of the center;
  • vAssist in getting collateral information about clients;
  • vAssist in records keeping and filing;
  • vDo simple documentation of activities; and

    vDo other related task

  • Civil Service Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable)
  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (July to December 2013) :

    Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified.
