The Role

The is expected to lead in the coordination and operational activities of the Kids SHINE project as well as liaise with the program and project officers to ensure the quality of implementation and monitoring.

  • Also, the post requires strong familiarity and substantial experience on project cycle and management; work breakdown structure and budget management;
  • procurement and logistics planning.

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of working in planning, monitoring and evaluation, audits or a similar field in an emergency organisation or emergency setting with practical experience of developing impact assessment systems and also undertaking evaluations.
  • Demonstrate understanding of monitoring, evaluation and accountability initiatives in the humanitarian sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills in order to deal tactfully and sensitively with a wide range of people in a large organisation and at a distance.
  • A flexible and initiative-taking attitude with the ability to manage and prioritise an unpredictable workload.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills in order to understand the range and content of the emergency programmes' work and provide practical solutions to operational challenges.
  • Strong planning skills
  • Experience in managing large amounts of information, and to be able to triangulate information quickly
  • Ability to work effectively and calmly in a high-pressure environment and to prioritize and effectively manage assignments in a timely fashion
  • Must be highly motivated and must possess initiative, discipline and a clear work ethic
  • Ability to think and act fast
  • Strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
  • Understands and believes in Save the Children's mission and vision; commits to its objectives and willing to adopt Save the Children's methodology and framework.

    Contract length : Fixed-term position until December 31, 2019.
