Description Provides support to the Strategic Marketing team in gathering, building and managing competitive intelligence database.
Analyst is responsible in the preparation, development and distribution of business intelligence reports. Duties includes : collection, data mining, maintenance and analysis of data in order to provide concise and accurate information.. Responsibilities
Collects market segmentation and industry data to support strategic planning.
Verifies New Customer Accounts SICs / NAICS, or other Competitor data
Analyzes existing product lines, trend and obsolescence.
Collects, organizes, analyzes and communicates competitive information, including technology, features and competitive pricing.
Provides company / competitive profiling research
Creates project databases and other internal reporting requirements as assigned by US counterparts.
Address report / information requests, clearly communicating commitments, issues, completion dates and status with requestor and with management.
Participates in the development and maintenance of data warehouse, subsequent reporting enhancements, including the creation of new reporting templates and analytical reports.
Initiates, develops and implements projects in lieu of business intelligence gathering and subsequent usage for strategic planning and decision making.
Continually research and test the most current tools applicable to improve existing reporting processes and its possible uses for data management and reporting.
Bachelor’s Degree preferable in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS, and other Business related courses
At least 1year experience in Market Research
Minimum 1 year experience in reporting and data analysis.
Basic to Intermediate Knowledge in MS Office Applications
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience in SharePoint is a plus but not required
Multi-tasking skill in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and close attention to detail
Strong in written and verbal skills
Accurate and Detail Oriented in delivering output
Good comprehension of technology and data management tools used in the process of collecting, storing, retrieving and analyzing data.
Generate Statistics and reports required Ability to work in a collaborative team environment a must
