Job Summary A new Business Support Team is being created to ensure SCD business users have a stable, reli-able and high performing AABOR.

This role serves to perform job functions within the newly-created team. As part of the job requirements, the successful candidate will be accountable for performing the team’s daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing moderate to complex business issues.

Job Description

As part of GO, we are implementing a new Accounting & Administrative Book of Record for se-curities (AABOR). The new platform, SimCorp Dimension (SCD), will replace our three existing systems : PAM, PORTIA and Maximis.

PAM was the first system to be replaced by SCD and went live in November this year. Portia and Maximis are scheduled to be converted to SCD in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

A new Business Support Team is being created to ensure SCD business users have a stable, reli-able and high performing AABOR.

This role serves to perform job functions within the newly-created team. As part of the job requirements, the successful candidate will be accountable for performing the team’s daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing moderate to complex business issues. Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and clearing the SCD message queue throughout the day to ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at end of day
  • Monitoring the team shared mailbox throughout the day and taking appropriate ac-tion on the emails received.
  • Generating IOI ad hoc security requests and monitoring that the security master setup occurs within an acceptable time frame (generally 30 minutes)
  • Investigating Transaction Hub (THUB) unknown queries and generating ad hoc transactions to THUB as needed
  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of production problems and devel-op timely solutions.
  • Executing acceptance test for implementation of new security types and functionali-ties, and system upgrade;
  • Executing and validating test cases for end-to-end processes;
  • Supporting for period end close processes
  • Working in collaboration with the business users and Global Solutions Delivery (GSD) to create / update / maintain :
  • Funds Reports
  • Chart of Accounts Reports
  • Accounting posting rules Reports
  • Portfolios Reports
  • Free codes Reports
  • User views Reports
  • Segments Reports
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage system capabilities in order to meet business requirements
  • Any other duties or projects assigned from time to time within or beyond working hours needed
  • Qualifications

  • Hands-on SCD experience would be an asset
  • Experience working directly with business clients in addition to application support teams
  • Previous experience in asset management operations in insurance or financial ser-vices
  • Ability to work well independently as well as with others as part of a team
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and information quickly
  • Eager to build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable influencing without authority
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Business, Systems or related experience
  • Should possess a desire to learn new skills, adapt, and take on new challenges.
  • Additional Details

  • The candidate must be willing to report for a night shift schedule.
  • The candidate must be willing to work in Diliman, Quezon City
