Reporting directly to the Regional Talent Acquisition Team Lead, this role will involve working directly with Hiring Managers to determine recruiting needs and devise the right approach to secure the best talent against defined criteria.

It will be critical to utilize all sourcing channels, internal and external, to deliver good practice and high-quality hires.

The role will require the confidence to advise, challenge and partner with business and HR leaders to determine optimum recruiting solutions for experienced hires across diverse and specialist areas.

  • Deliver recruitment for entry to mid level roles by utilising a wide variety of sourcing channels, maximising networks, working efficiently and applying creative yet practical thinking to fully support the business on quality of process and candidate assessment
  • Be an exemplar of the Kantar Recruiting Framework by undertaking structured briefing sessions to fully explore the context of recruiting assignments identifying key outcomes in role and the associated capabilities needed to deliver them
  • Drive recruiting projects to successful outcome through guiding and advising stakeholders in terms of available talent versus ideal candidates while providing responsive, efficient service balanced with consultative, expert-
  • led approach to recruiting

  • Adhere to the systems and processes of the Talent Acquisition group including recording all recruiting workflow and documentation on Taleo and submitting reporting data within given timelines
  • Contribute to the continuous development of best practice in attraction and selection of talent at Kantar by sharing your knowledge and adapting new practices
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as required to deliver Talent Acquisition to Kantar

  • Recruiting experience in a results driven in-house / agency setting
  • Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Direct sourcing capability including Boolean search techniques and cold calling
  • Knowledge of market research, marketing services or consultancy sector recruiting will be an advantage
  • Experience recruiting across functions and business units
  • Language ability - Native / fluent level of Japanese, Business level of English
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering against recruiting targets
