    Position Overview

    The analyzes everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to executive management on future financial plans for the Philippines.

    Maintains financial health of the organization by providing financial leadership to the company within the Philippines that improves overall performance of the business.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the financial strategic operations of the group by directing and administering the financial activities of the organization, improving efficiencies and driving profit across all activities and business segment
  • Analyze cost, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to business plans
  • Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances
  • Control activities such as taxation, credit policy, cash flow and investment policy, costing and expense management, audits, insurance agreements and the financial management of tenders, contracts, property and other asset management
  • Control and Administration of Philippine General Ledgers
  • Ensure the Philippine Balance Sheet are effectively managed through analysis
  • Preparation of monthly financial and forecasting reports and reconciliation of financial statements
  • Lead finance department in providing proactive financial support to all lines of businesses, business unit and functions
  • Provide leadership and direction to finance staff; Lead, train, develop and motivate finance staff
  • Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of financial accounting and related systems
  • Work with functional leaders and other finance functions to build scalable financial processes and metrics. Develop new ideas and creative solutions
  • Qualifications

  • At least 6 to 7 years of proven experience as Accounting / Finance Manager; preferably in the public practice
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication and persuasion skills
  • Works successfully in an ambiguous environment
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, etc.
  • Professional license as CPA or similar is an advantage
