  • Participate in the execution of audit projects (including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) work) in accordance with audit methodology and standards.
  • Complete audits within time budgets and target dates, reporting any problem to project lead.
  • Understand the risks being managed by the business unit and get management's agreement on relevant risks.
  • Test and assess the effectiveness of identified key controls. Draft and confirm findings with business unit management.
  • Assist project leads in preparing and presenting the audit report, reviewing the sufficiency of management actions to close the issues.

  • Assist in the monitoring, review and closure of open audit issues.
  • Utilize technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency of audit process.
  • Promote risk and control awareness through collaboration with business unit management and continuous education and training.
  • Assist and perform any other audit duties as assigned by audit management.
  • EDUCATION / TRAINING : Bachelor degree required


  • 1-2 years internal / external audit or equivalent business experience
  • Insurance and financial services industry knowledge is a plus
  • PROFESSIONAL / TRADE QUALIFICATION : Recognized accounting (CPA, CMA) or auditing (CIA, CISA, CRISC) professional designation is an advantage


  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge in using Management or Auditing tools desirable

  • Good knowledge of audit methodologies, control frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Insurance industry knowledge is an advantage.
  • Recognized professional designation (e.g. CA, CIA) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to deal with conflicts.
  • Provide clear and timely constructive feedback.
  • Proven relationship skills including ability to deal with staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients.
  • Results oriented.
  • Proactive and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Sound business judgment in assessing significance of issues and developing recommendations.
  • Commitment to quality and strong work ethics.
