Active Directory Engineer.

Authentication and Authorisation Services within Identity and Access Management team is responsible for Macquarie’s key IAM technology services including, Directory Services, Cryptographic Services, Federation Services and Multi-factor authentication.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Active Directory Engineer to drive Directory Service tower projects and roadmaps.

The role will require the successful applicant to support and execute multiple work-streams in consultation with key stakeholders and the business leads.

You must also have a proven experience developing, maintaining, and supporting identity and authentication access management in a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment

To be successful in this role you are or will need to have :

  • Expertise on Directory Services (Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos protocols, DNS, LDS)
  • Strong record of operational success managing large and complex Active Directory environments
  • Ability to support, maintain, and improve production environments
  • Ability to work with other team members to identify and suggest service improvements and / or new technology solutions.
  • Ability to identify and assess threats and vulnerabilities in Active Directory environments and apply effective solutions in order to reduce risk
  • Ability to provide automation using PowerShell or any other scripting tool to avoid the manual and repetitive tasks
  • General understanding of Public Key Infrastructure PKI and Active Directory Certificate Services would be highly regarded
  • Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure AD, Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM), UNIX LDAP is desirable
  • Experience overseeing a team is also desirable
