Shift : Primarily morning, but candidates for this role must be flexible and be willing to be on call
Job Requirements :
Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design and technology
Investigate system problems, isolate causes and respond to system incidents escalated
Analyze system requirements and leads design, development and operation activities
Establish a comprehensive system monitoring plan and proactively carry out actions for stable system operation
Assessment and formulate system problems, create improvement plans and implement them
Provide documentation, processes and technical training to other team members to improve the technical level of the team
Work on automating system procedures and improve team work efficiency
Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
Communicate with other teams and personnel to carry out system improvement and introduction projects
Contribute to knowledge base for troubleshooting and maintaining the environment
Perform scheduled night / weekend work as required due to environmental constraints
Essential Skills and Competencies :
Extensive experience in urgent investigation, problem isolation and response to system problems
Experience initiating new projects, plan, progress management and team leading
Deep understanding of architectures of Virtualization software like Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, VMware vSphere
Deployment and Configuration Automation experience using PowerShell
Administration experience of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and GPO based on Windows Servers
Windows Desktop Administration experience of Microsoft Windows 10
Virtual Desktop Administration using Citrix Studio and Director
Virtualization Infrastructure Experience of Azure
Thin clients Infrastructure administration experience of Dell Wyse
Overall knowledge of infrastructure technologies storage, networking, servers, load balancing, etc.; Anti-virus and Profile management
Deep knowledge of Virtual Application packaging and remediation : App-V, SCCM
Independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making and analytical skills
Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call
