Human Capital Consultant to join our growing team. This individual will support the Senior Consultants in fulfilling client goals and objectives through best-in-class HR Expertise .
This position works remotely when not attending client or team meetings.
The ideal candidate will strive to deliver on PPR's performance excellence while maintaining the highest level of customer service standards to our clients, which is paradigm to PPR.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Acts as a subject matter expert for business leaders on HR-related issues.
Trains under Senior Consultants to understand the unique dynamics of each client.
With an understanding of each client's unique needs, aligns business objectives with employees and managers to support effective human capital management
Delivers best-practice knowledge and support in the following areas, as client needs dictate :
Administration of compensation and benefit plans
Assistance in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Employee onboarding and training & development initiatives
Advice and counsel to employees and managers in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, employee concerns and investigations and other issues that may arise
Development and promotion of HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Development and implementation of human resource policies
Performance management needs
Continues to nurture internal and external relationships by showing best-in-class client care and strong subject matter expertise
Keeps current with best-practice human resources and recruiting strategies / trends.
Draws upon own experience in general HR management to implement ideas and solutions to existing clients / projects.
Protects the security of sensitive and confidential matters such as personnel records, employee relations, organizational changes and all other sensitive data / files.
Exercises individual judgment while working with potential or real troubles on own initiative and brings them to the attention of the Senior Consultants.
Conducts research and gathers data as requested.
Continually desires to improve by seeking feedback from colleagues.
Builds confidence and proves ability to take on leading assignments
Becomes an intricate and valuable part of a very healthy team
Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Education :
3-5 years' experience within the Human Resources discipline as an HR Generalist : Compliance, Total Rewards, Payroll, Talent Management, etc.
Bachelor's degree required.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or the ability to become certified within first year of employment
Bilingual skills (Spanish) highly desired.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing business needs
An above and beyond mentality, keen eye for attention to detail and solid organizational skills required.
Superb customer service skills with a passion for delivering excellence.
Proven ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability.
