DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Handle and prepare all international documentation; invoices, commercial invoices, certs of origin, company import documentation
  • Coordinates with the Accounting Department with regards to shipments document for payment
  • Handle all email correspondence with clients internationally and domestically
  • Organize all paperwork and files. Keep track of the whole ordering process.
  • Run phone system and answer any incoming call / questions
  • Prepares delivery / outbound documents such as Sales Invoice, Delivery Order
  • Follows up with internal processor the status of Purchase Order as well as the shipping details to ensure accurate shipment transaction
  • Monitors with the broker the status of incoming shipments to ensure timely arrival in the warehouse
  • Prepares inbound documents such as goods received note, supplier invoice, estimated cost, and billing to broker / service provider
  • Updates the outstanding Sales Orders and Trading Contracts in SAP to ensure accuracy of records
  • Performs other related work which may be assigned by the leader or manager from time to time
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Previous experience as an Import Clerk is preferable
  • Has strong administrative skills and is very organized
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Would suit someone who is outgoing and friendly, and commercially aware
  • Good numeric skills are required for the role of Import Clerk
  • Must be familiar with computer software programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel, Etc.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
