Supports the functional testing for critical services as part of monitoring.
Supports monthly backup and clean-up of logs.
Prepares and generates reports and statistics for live services upon request.
Ensures that daily reports and stats (email, webtool, SMS, etc.) are working perfectly.
Oversees both Technical Support and Custodian in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the team.
Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Upgrades and conﬁgures system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
Provides third-level support to queries and issues raised by incident management and request fulﬁllment process.
Installs and conﬁgures computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Troubleshoots system, PABX, and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults via remote access or the on-prem dispatch.
Ensures that service incident tickets are acknowledged, escalated, and resolved according to Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Performs follow-ups until resolution.
Supports the roll-out of new applications and evaluating new technology.
Performs periodic backup, performance tuning, resource optimization as part of maintenance.
Prepares reports and assure that information is readily available.
Acts as backup System or Network Administrator for Infra.
Supports the technical issues and is accountable for the following systems : Linux, Windows, and Application systems that support Asset Management;
Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.

Job Qualifications / Requirements
Education At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course.
Related Work Experience At least 5 years of working experience in system administration in Linux and Windows Environment or in a similar role.
Database Creation and Management such as a Hardware Inventory Library. Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, and other certiﬁcations a strong plus.
Knowledge Knowledgeable in the following : IT Service Operations or IT Service Management Complex system conﬁguration.
Networking Conﬁguration. Systems Administration / System Engineer certiﬁcation in Unix and Microsoft. Implementation of Automated Proactive and Reactive Monitoring Tools.
Operating Systems Windows, Linux - Cloud and Non-Cloud Virtualization eg. VMWare, AWS, Azure, Rackspace, etc. IT Access and Network Security.
Server Management. System and network infrastructure, design, installation, and deployment. OS : CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, Windows Server.
Knowledgeable in Unix / Linux shell scripting and basic PHP programming Linux Services : Apache / NginX / Database / PHP Windows Services : AD, DHCP, DNS.
Knowledgeable in Telco Value Added Services and SMS Protocol is a plus. Familiarity with AWS (Amazon web services).
Skills : Must have sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making. Must have above-average communication skills.
Must have excellent customer service. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision and able to provide guidance to new team members Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment with tight SLAs.
