Position Summary :

This is Philippines position is part of the Business Operations group, which serves as the connecting thread within the Asia Content and Media Distribution department and links the department with the greater NBA organization.

This person will be integral to cultivating cross-team alignment and establishing an efficient and streamlined workflow throughout all phases of our business - from strategic planning, business development, partner onboarding and relationship maintenance.

As part of the team, this person will also play a role in crafting the department's overall strategy, and lead initiatives that contribute to our business objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and solution-oriented, always aiming for efficiency and better productivity.

Major Responsibility :

  • Learn and understand the NBA's internal work processes, be able to identify gaps and inefficiencies, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Liaise with internal groups and facilitate clear and efficient information sharing and cross-team collaboration
  • Gather key market intelligence (e.g. industry developments, partner profiles, competitor movements, consumer and fan studies, etc.
  • and develop a centralized database for use in strategic planning, business development and account management

  • Oversee partner onboarding by handling administrative and legal processes and leading the transition to day-to-day operational support
  • Track and manage key contractual obligations and work with the account executives and day-to-day contacts to ensure partner compliance
  • Develop and track partner success metrics together with account leads and operational support team
  • Provide general administrative support for the department (e.g. ticket requests, meeting organization, document preparation)
  • Required Skills / Knowledge :

    This role would suit a professional with :

  • 3+ years of full-time experience in the media rights industry or a related field.
  • The person must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, as the role entails liaising frequently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • He or she must possess good organizational skills in order to bring together different groups under one cohesive workstream.
  • This person must be proactive and have the ability to think critically.
  • The person must have a good command of common productivity software (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint) and be familiar with collaboration and organizational tools (e.
  • g. OneNote, Basecamp, Trello, etc.)

  • Tertiary / University level degree
