Description The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) roles include Client Management and Lead Management. Sales Focused communication is expected for the development of distribution in new channels to End Users.

ISS is as part of the N. American Sales Force and is responsible to identify sales opportunities and perform sales support activities (ProSupport) that will assist to accomplish targeted sales objectives.

They may be required to travel for sales meetings. Responsibilities Phone Based :

  • Manage RIDGID distributors by call campaigns for new products and promotions
  • Manage High Priority Leads by qualifying requests
  • Generate leads from list of contactsEmails, Data Base, Reports based :
  • Respond to email inquiries of Distributors and Customers (internal and external)
  • Send email updates on concerns with pending resolution
  • Maintain database and sales records for references
  • Report regional status to Field Sales
  • Provide weekly or monthly updates / reports to Team Leader and Regional manager as assigned
  • Accomplish special projects as assigned by and for field sales
  • Ensure assigned work instructions are updatedOther duties and responsibilities : 10%
  • Notify management on persisting problems issues involving internal and external customers.
  • In the absence of management will assist team members on operational concerns
  • Assist with on phone / support training of new employees.
  • Assist other teams of Ridge Tool on phones / emails as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements
  • A graduate of four-year degree course. Business Course preferred but not required
  • 2 years or more experience on international phone based support Calling B2B and B2C.
  • At least 1 year or more experience on sales, up-selling phone based is considered
  • Ability to use MS Office to produce reports, presentations and produce other required output
  • Ability to Respond to email inquiries and send email updates on concerns with pending resolution
  • Basic Project Management Skills ability to handle small projects assigned by Territory Managers, Regional Managers and Emerson Management
  • Excellent Conversational English Communication skills
  • Ability to be in control of the conversation on the phone with clients / end users / distributors and field sales
  • Creative approach to increase Inside Sales and Field Sales interaction (ProSupport)
  • Ability to use multiple system tools as the same time
  • Understands basic economic principles (e.g net cost, selling price, profit etc..)
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Possess leadership skills
  • Ability to consistently produce quality work while in high stress situations
  • Ability on data and report analysis would be desirable.Phone Skills Set
  • Research Skills ability to determine Target Companies and target prospect for a call campaign
  • Contact skills : ability to use questions which focuses primarily on reaching people high on the decision chain in less than 5 minutes
  • Qualifying skills : ability to ask question that fully qualifies the prospect determining business need, and return-on-investment requirements w / in the first 10 mins. of the call
  • Negotiation / Sales Objection skills : ability to understanding roadblocks the prospect may unveil during the closing process Closing skills : ability to frame the solution to make functional and economic sense within the technology and business mindset of the prospectAbility to work in close proximity to co-workers, in a team environmentAbility to quickly adopt to changes addressing operational concernsAvailable to work at night shift and occasionally render overtime PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
