Ensure risks to safety, quality, service and cost are identified, mitigated and where necessary escalated to the appropriate governance forum delivering site IPT
Ensure capability of processes & people and plant capacity is sufficient to deliver customer demand and tock build.
Coach and provide development suggestions to improve the behavior / performance of team leaders to ensure that the expectations are being met.
This will include holding people to account for the duties that they are responsible.
Create an environment that focuses on career and skill development that builds on organizational capabilities necessary to implement Operations Strategy via skill forecasting, gap analysis and effective use of 70 / 20 / 10 to bridge the gaps.
Plan & execute with support from other SLT members Project Alaska Project Plan.
Monitor & track the programme plan, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and to the right quality
Support the Program Lead in the preparation & facilitation of weekly project team meetings, ensuring actions, decisions, escalations, risks & issues and change requests are formally documented and followed up
Maintain oversight of business case, ensuring programme remains aligned to original objectives and ensuring the team deliver the strategic intent and committed savings
Identify, track and manage inter-dependencies between the workstreams as well as external influencing projects or programmes
Basic qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or similar in operations related / technical such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy or materials science and engineering
Relevant years of operations experience preferably in a manufacturing setting
Preferred qualifications :
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical or FMCG (cGMP), Safety and Regulatory Environment
