This person will be responsible for processing, submission and follow-up of crew documentations applied for at the different government agencies such as POEA contracts, visas and flagstate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for the submission of pre-deployment documents related to employee contracts such as POEA contracts, Flagstate, Visa, and other related papers
Prioritize submission of documents based on deployment dates
Coordinates with employees regarding their appointment dates with the Embassy / Consulate
Facilitate the timely approval / release of contracts, visas and other pre-deployment documents.
Performs other task which may, from time to time, be assigned by his / her direct superior
Review all documents needed for the visa filing
Secure, request, prepare and make copies of additional documents needed for visa application
Coordinate with the CMs with regards to their visa appointments
Accompany CMs during their visa interview
File at the embassy all visa applications not requiring CM appearance
Submit fund requisition for visa fee and make payment at the embassy as necessary
Update all information pertaining to visa requirements and inform the Visa Supervisor regarding this
Prepare and submit agency accreditation to the embassies
Make an appointment at the embassy for crew appearance where required
Make an inventory of all visa filings, communicate such information to the business unit and upload copy of visa in CTRAC
Such other matters that will facilitate the release of visa applications.
Experience as a liaison officer
Qu alifications, Knowledge, and Skills :
A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in any field
Must have at least 2 year experience in related field is required for this position
Knowledgeable in various visa requirements
Has the ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization
Ability to manage conflicting demands and competing priorities
Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries to different people
A skilled influencer which will be able to gain commitment from different quarters in order to benefit the organization.
Ability to work well with a range of people both within and outside the organization
