About the Department

The Business Services team across locations provides processing and voice support and to enable a follow-the-sun delivery model for Wells Fargo that would help us service our customers faster.

Business Services teams perform bank operation processes across divisions of WF Home Lending, Wholesale Ops, Wealth & Investment Management (WIM), PVSI Fraud and Claims Management, PVSI & Community banking.

About the Role

Typically related to matters with significant organizational impact and / or very sensitive context, researches, analyzes the decisions of actions taken or loan documentation, files, or on-

line transactions through a review of individual or aggregate transactions, assessing compliance with contractual terms / conditions, insurer guidelines, investor requirements and / or government regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for comprehensive and highly accurate reviews including report preparation, analysis and trending / insights of findings (including identification of fraud concerns) and proposes recommendations for changes that can impact future loan quality and processing.
  • Determines appropriate course of remedial action, conducting investigative steps to fully identify the issues, researching product information, terms, conditions, contracts, etc.
  • creating correspondence as needed, enacting responses, and processing complex and / or corrective transactions on-line (including monetary and non-monetary actions).

  • Consults regarding difficult, complex transactions. Typically has latitude to determine contact and escalation levels and make exceptions to underwriting guidelines;
  • refers recommendations exceeding authority levels and / or items unable to meet resolution to senior management for review.

  • Typically participates in projects that identify / implement process improvements.
  • Typically performs team leadership and provides work direction.
  • Acts as a mentor to lower level team members and may assist with their development.
  • Market Skills and Certifications

    Essential Qualifications :

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree course
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience as a leader, facilitator and developer of high performing team members to meet or exceed business goals and / or objectives, while fostering a team atmosphere.
  • Strong experience in operations, customer service in financial services management within a high volume, fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Proven track record in establishing and driving service / operational excellence; identifying and presenting processes and / or operational enhancements to meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrated time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communications skills to include demonstrated experience as a collaborator who has built successful relationships and influenced throughout the business to drive results.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and lead team to implement and deliver business objectives.
