The Team : Translations department is part of the Documents & Translations domain on Market Intelligence division at S&P Global.
It’s responsible for delivering accurate and timely translated content to internal financial and non-financial data collection teams within the division.
It also supports translation requirements for other divisions as well as Corporate, Technology, Legal and News groups within the company.
The Impact : The Localization Project Manager, Translations will work with internal and external clients to manage the timely flow of all translation and localization project actions from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-
around time and budget expectations.

Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements.
Manage client relationships and serve as primary day-to-day contact for internal clients.
Provide support and input to clients, including education about the localization process, as required.
Set and manage client expectations
Collaborate with production teams to create, implement and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists and instructions.
Actively promote within the team and implement use of technology on projects.
Monitor and maintain project financials, including expenses and invoicing.
Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximize efficiency and RoI.
Collaborate with internal teams across global sites to initiate and implement procedural changes and customized workflows.
Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams.
Organize and participate in client meetings
Manage and guide direct report(s) as applicable.
What we are looking for :
Ideally with more than 5 years of relevant experience in translations project management experience required
Experience in Chinese / Mandarin localization projects is a plus
Foreign language skills are a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and related tools, esp. MS Excel and Word are a plus
Knowledge of translation tools like Trados, Memoq, Memsource etc required
Knowledge of DTP, machine translation, and translation memory management tools a must
Experience with XML formats are a plus
Knowledge of internationalisation and software localization process a plus
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

BA / BS / Bachelor in computer science. Industry relevant educational background a plus.
Background in translation and localization a must.
College degree in the area of Business, Computer Science, Management or Marketing or any equivalent / relevant degrees.
Flexible to work in shifting schedules and render overtime when there is a business need
Must be willing to work in Pasig City (Silver City Office)
