Job Summary :

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for payroll compliance issues, payroll reporting and metrics and overall payroll quality of payroll operations.

Leading a team of analysts, providing monthly payroll reporting and analytics, the manager will provide guidance to payroll, HR, operational and / or functional leaders to mitigate compliance risks.

Will also be responsible for defect management and ensuring system changes and defects are submitted timely and testing performed

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for multi region payroll compliance issues identifying root cause, investigation, and remediation.
  • Ensure payroll compliance issues are logged and tracked to completion and future risks mitigated.
  • Lead a team of analysts to develop and implement payroll reporting metrics across all regions.
  • Ensure monthly metrics are presented to regional leadership and Executive teams and provide feedback on areas of risk with identified mitigation plans and actions
  • Ensure weekly ServiceNow reports are reviewed and distributed timely and noticeable events highlighted to regional and FieldCore leadership.
  • Ensure payroll time evaluation systems (Workforce Software and WTG) are configured correctly and output is as per local laws, legislations, and CBA’s etc.
  • Lead and control system defect management by ensuring business requirement documentation is complete and approved for configuration.
  • Lead weekly calls to review and approve business requirement documentation for new system defect requests and prioritize the work order for IT support teams.
  • Attend weekly toll gate calls to approve defects for transfer to production environment.
  • Ensure Shadow Payroll processing is performed timely and as per agreed schedules and tax payments coordinated through local payroll and finance teams.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all payroll regions.
  • Lead the standardization and harmonization of payroll processes
  • Identify and drive automation initiatives and opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve payroll efficiency.
  • Work closely with payroll vendors on process improvement initiatives to improve payroll quality, control, and compliance.
  • Build regional compliance culture through awareness, prevention initiatives and training
  • Compliance champion for ROW region with global perspective.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and planning required to recommend, plan, and carry out sequential projects while considering resources, contingencies, and alternatives.
  • Available to travel internationally when required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive the FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in payroll system rule configuration and testing
  • 7+ years of experience in external and internal payroll audits, controls and root cause analysis
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll management with expertise in multi-regional payroll with complex pay rules
  • Proven experience in lean, Robotic Process Automation, process mapping and re-engineering
  • English proficiency required
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Experience in support of a multi-national payroll organization preferred.
  • Possess a working knowledge of US multi-state employment law.
  • Knowledge of applicable region labor laws and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner in multiple formats (Word, email, PowerPoint, WebEx, Excel).
  • Extensive experience in conducting root cause analysis and investigations.
  • Ability to work with remote teams in multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally while communicating effectively with business partners around the world.
  • Possess the ability to work independently, with guidance in complex situations.
  • Proactive takes initiative to identify and anticipate employee and business needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
