Brand Planning

  • Leads development of strategic long-term plans and annual brand plans
  • Aligns local stakeholders to ensure robustness of brand plans
  • Aligns with regional team to get timely input and to obtain sign off on brand plans
  • Brand Operations & Execution

  • Ensures end-to-end execution of the brand plans via the cross functional team
  • Tracks spends vs budgets and ensures that all spends are accounted for
  • Provides timely and accurate input to the monthly rolling forecast, working with the demand planner, trade marketing team and finance
  • Provides brand updates and reports to stakeholders in the country and in the region
  • Brand Tracking & Course Correction

  • Monitors and analyses brand metrics (sales, shares, penetration, distribution, awareness, brand equity, etc) and stays close to consumers and competitors to gain insights and identify issues & opportunities
  • Makes necessary adjustments to the brand activity plan to keep the brand on track
  • Business / P&L Management

  • Identifies opportunities to improve profitability thru revenue growth management, effective spend management, cost savings, etc.
  • Innovation & Product Development

  • Leads project management of product innovations
  • Drive with regional R&E innovation initiatives that would result to margin improvement
  • Drives cadence of accountability to ensure that all team members complete their tasks on time and in full
  • Develops the NPI launch plan, in partnership with cross functional team
  • Monitors NPI launch performance and provides leadership to ensure achievement of execution KPIs
  • Performs Post Launch evaluations to identify learnings and recommendations
  • Communication & Content Development to Distribution

  • Writes and owns all communication & content briefs, aligned with the Head of Marketing
  • Works with creative agencies to develop winning brand communication assets
  • Works with KC media lead, media agency and other execution agencies to deploy the communication assets in the right channels and touchpoints, and to perform in-flight optimizations and course corrections to ensure that objectives are met
  • Works with artists and trade marketing team to develop and deploy POS materials as part of the campaign
  • Pack-Price-Promo Tactics Deployment

  • Develops and owns the calendar of pack-price-promo tactics, and works with trade marketing and supply chain to operationalize them
  • Monitors execution against KPIs
  • Leads Post Promo evaluations to identify learnings and recommendations
  • This position is an individual contributor (no direct reports). He / she will report directly to the Head of Marketing.
